kickball

Bust out your cleats, it’s that time of year again! Whether you just moved to town and want to make friends, or your office wants to organize a team, kickball is the ultimate backyard game that continues to bring everyone together.

This classic game found its roots during recess and gym class, as a way for kids to play and develop teamwork. Since this humble beginning, kickball grew to be an international game for all ages. The object of the game, like baseball, is to score more runs than the opposing team. Our teams consist of 11 vs 11, however you can have up to 30 people on a team.

Adult leagues are one of the best ways to make new friends and stay active! We accommodate everyone from beginners to experienced players- and this year, we have two league options- social or competitive!

Laughter, drinks and a few bruises are all part of the fun when you play kickball with us. Summer season starts August 3rd and we play on Thursday nights at Long Family Memorial Park from 6-7pm. Meet us afterwards at our league bar, Game Day, to continue the fun and prizes!

Sign up as an individual (free agent) or team today. Check out the images on the registration page to find out more information on how to sign up.

Disclaimer: In the event you need a refund, the additional $5 processing fee will not be refunded.

ultimate frisbee

Closed

Ultimate is a fast moving, non-contact team sport, similar in many respects to other invasion games. Players need to possess a degree of speed, stamina, and agility to play to a good level. The official pitch size is similar to a football pitch, but much smaller pitches are suitable for beginners and younger players. Ultimate Frisbee is played indoor 5v5 or outdoor 7v7.

The main objective is to catch the disc in the end-zone by passing the disc to progress up the pitch.
ï‚·

  • You cannot walk or run with the disc.

  • Points are scored when the disc is caught inside the end-zone.ï‚·

  • If the disc hits the ground, regardless of who touches it last, the other team gain.

  • possession.

  • The disc can also be intercepted or caught outside the pitch to cause a turnover of possession.

  • The teams change ends after each point.ï‚·

  • Play resumes by the scoring team from the previous point ‘pulling’ the disc to their opposition.

  • Unlimited rolling substitutions can be made at the end of each point.ï‚·

Summit Play places the responsibility for fair play on every player. Highly competitive play is encouraged but should never sacrifice the mutual respect between players, adherence to the rules of the game, or the basic joy of play.
